Over the past month I have been both horrified and saddened by the natural disasters and nuclear situation ongoing in Northeast Japan (Tohoku). In an effort to do something personal and collective in response, I am inviting you to participate in a collaborative drawing effort dedicated to the affected communities.
This coming Saturday, April 16th, we are inviting artists and friends to join us at CANADA to fill a 60 foot-long banner with drawings and well-wishes to those who have lost so much.
On April 21st I will bring the drawing with me to Japan with the plan for it to travel to shelters in the Northeast region. I hope that this can be a simple but powerful message of support.
Thank you.
